DETAILS:
The Roof Crop is a design focused, urban agriculture initiative that values and promotes sustainability, ecology, and community engagement. TRC was conceived in 2013 as a project to market green roof systems and has since grown into a media, landscape, and urban farm company. The Roof Crop's building is thought to have been constructed in 1928. It previously operated as a manufacturing warehouse. Now, it is home to dynamic operations that highlight the value of meticulous craftsmanship. These include The Roof Crop, an apothecary and design store called Third Season, the restaurant Maxwell's Trading, and Flashpoint Innovation, a food and beverage consultancy equipped with its own state-of-the-art test kitchen. The new renovated building also features a rooftop farm and three large greenhouses.
