DETAILS:

Opened to the public in 2018, the CAC's downtown riverfront location offers nearly 10,000 square feet of exhibition space, along with the award-winning Design Store. The Center's exhibitions focus on Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods, housing types, leading architects, current design and development, and architectural innovation. This includes the largest scale model of the city, with more than 4,250 miniature 3D-printed buildings. On OHC weekend, visit the exhibit spaces or take one of our famous Docent-led tours by foot, bus, boat, or 'L' train.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

Enjoy free Center admission, including all exhibit spaces. Come shop the Design Store as well.
