Starling by Duo/.

A first-of-its-kind neighborhood amenity, Starling by Duo/. is the first commercial building to open on 16th Street in North Lawndale in over 70 years. The building operates as a café open to the public and is also available to rent by-the-hour for people to host programming and events such as gallery shows, yoga classes, book launches, music production, and birthday parties. The spaces come together to serve as a platform for people to bring their visions and/or business ideas to life, and gather, replenish, learn, and create. The hand-painted blue concrete walls are a representation of liberation.
