DETAILS:
Birch Road Clubhouse is hidden in plain sight right along the popular Armitage Corridor in Lincoln Park. The non-descript building that pre-dates the Chicago fire has a lot of history and personality that has been preserved in the private members club that now calls it home. Birch Road Clubhouse is Chicago's original BYOB neighborhood clubhouse. Centered around community and flexiblity, members of Birch Road treat the space as their home-away-from-home. Members access the space via fingerprint scanner and can enjoy the expansive club for daytime co-working or evening socializing. Each member gets a temperature-controlled locker to store their own wine, beer, or spirits. There are no bartenders or menus, instead members are encouraged to serve themselves and friends. Birch Road acts as the perfect third place, in between home and being out at a bar or restaurant.
VISITOR EXPERIENCE:
Groups of 10-12 people will be given tours of the entire clubhouse.
