Gary Comer Youth Center

The Gary Comer Youth Center (GCYC) is recognized as one of the nation’s most unique youth-serving organizations. GCYC prepares young people to confidently lead in and out of the classroom and to become well-rounded global citizens through diverse programs, wraparound services, and career exploration opportunities. In addition to the 80,000 square foot facility, which features athletic facilities, a rooftop garden, a dance studio and a Best Buy Teen Tech Center, Gary Comer Youth Center also operates a 2-acre teaching farm. In the full commercial kitchen, young people interested in the culinary arts learn to prepare and serve nutritious high-quality meals.
