540 West Madison is a 1.15 million-square-foot LEED Platinum-certified office building. A leader in sustainability, the building's sixth floor includes a rooftop apiary and garden that uses a rainwater irrigation system--the first of its kind in the city. Recognized for its exceptional energy-saving measures, the building was honored with the ComEd RcX Project of the Year award in 2023 and 2024.
